Application And Research Of Statistical Language Model

In this paper, the principle and realization of the statistical language model in the practical application of speech recognition system got study, and on this basis, we discuss the statistical language model data sparseness problem, and try to combine the grammar rules to improve the traditional statistical language model.This article mainly includes the following sections:(1) Introduces the principle and implementation of statistical language models;(2) Analyzes the current smoothing algorithm and discuss the evaluation criteria based language model perplexity;(3) The combination of grammar rules, proposed alternative words and conjunctions strategy to improve the traditional statistical language model;(4) Analyzes the role of the statistical language model in the speech recognition system.
