Research And Implementation Of Fault Detection Method Based On Cloud Computing

Cloud computing, one of the most popular areas in IT industry, is a new computing model. Cloud computing has realized the change from concept to reality gradually, to be more and more close to People’s Daily life. People have benefited from the massive convenience of "cloud" unknowingly, however, people are enjoying the convenience, at the same time they need to inherit the cloud’s inconvenience.Software testing technology based on fault model obtained fast development in many years’ research and practice, the research result is also very significant. With the wide application of cloud computing, fault problems generate, a growing body of research on fault detection of cloud computing has appeared, and there are many effective fault detection method to reduce the fault of cloud computing. Now, there are some problems in the research of method of fault detection based on cloud computing as flows:(1) the traditional software fault model can not cover all the faults in cloud computing, as a result, in the process of fault detection, some faults are difficult to be detected in cloud computing.(2) some fault detection methods has used in the fault characteristics as indicators to detect the fault, but the definition of relationship between fault and fault feature is not clear.In order to solve the above problem, in this paper, we combine fault model, fault feature and fault detection in cloud computing, first we establish the fault models in cloud computing, and then design the detection method for detecting faults in cloud computing, hoping to perfect the fault models in continuous testing. In giving full play to the advantages of the fault model and fault detection in the finished cloud, we do four major tasks as follows:(1) to solve the problem in cloud computing that fault’s variety, quick change, on the basis of software fault research, fault model, we combine them with characteristics of cloud computing, and propose fault models in cloud, respectively from four angles for fault classification in cloud computing, fault models under cloud computing are set up;(2) Define the relationship between fault and the fault features, combining the fault and fault features in cloud; (3) For the proposed fault model and fault features model in cloud computing, this paper propose a fault detection method based on cloud computing;(4) A cloud fault detection system is designed and implemented, a lot of experiments are done to validate the method is right and the system is effective.
