Face image include enough information, and it is a special kind of image. The research of face image warping technology and algorithm is always vital content in filed of computer vision and computer graph. As long as now, highly attention to the detail of face image warping is more and more arising.As to image warping having many and complex algorithms, the result of warping is not provide convenient visual senses to people, so improving the result of image warping is now the hot point of warping research for the scholars and researchers in the field.The main research of the paper is face image warping. And the image warp technology has two key technologies:spatial transformation and resampling. Achieving face image warp, first of all, it needs to recognize the facial features and locate the facial features from the face images; secondly, using the warp technology to warp the resource image and destination image. And the facial features locating can get from the ASM algorithm, but the result of locating is not accurate, so the paper give a improved method to locate the facial features.In the paper, the face image warp algorithm is based on control points face image warp algorithm. The algorithm of image warping is complex, but the result of the warping is better, and it can get the middle images, these images can show the stable and smooth process of the warping. This paper is based on normal face model,take the warp algorithm to the face image then get the face images contain the different kinds of expressions,and the result is real, the visual senses is ideal. Now, the image warp technology is largely taking into animation and movie making、 medical reshape、 identification representation、the next generation’s appearance prediction etc. In the future, it will be taken into more and broader filed.
