With the increasing of global aging population, we are entering an agingsociety. The elderly, the elderly health care of disease, puts forward thesevere test on the limited medical resources.Wearable medical services canplay a major role for the above problem, wearable equipment networking relatedwireless domain network have become the focus in the medical information.Compared with the traditional wireless sensor networks,one of the mostimportant characteristic of wireless body is that body domain network ofsensor nodes is implanted inside human body or placed inside the human bodysurface.Wireless communication between sensor nodes would inevitablyinfluenced by the human environment.Human body parameters measurementequipment have appeared on the market at present and testing technologymature.Wireless body domain network standard of IEEE802.15.6have releasedin February2012formally.But the study of communication standard is stilla focus in the study of wireless body domain network.This paper focuses on the study that Cross-layer optimization techniquesof WBAN, mainly completed the following work:(1) The WBAN network topology, physical layer (PHY) and medium accesscontrol protocol (MAC) is discussed in detail in this paper.In-depthdiscussion of the WBAN channel environment. Established the path loss modeland impulse response model of ultra-wideband (UWB) in the human body channelenvironment. Made MATLAB simulation of the the two kinds of model.(2) The working principle of HARQ are discussed in this paper.Establishmodel of three different types of HARQ in human body channelconditions.Analyze it from throughput, bit error rate, average transfer times.The MATLAB simulation results show that the Type-III HARQ can betteradapt to the channel of the human body environment, in terms of its throughputthan the Type-I HARQ and Type-III were4%and14%higher than that of HARQ.(3) Combined with the above analysis presents Cross-layer optimizationscheme for WBAN, Firstly, a cross layer optimization scheme based on HARQand AMC combined with WBAN are deduced and the expressions of the packet lossrate of the system is given.Proposes two schemes,scheme one is Type-III typeof HARQ combined with AMC s and scheme two is Type-I of ARQ combined withAMC. These two schemes were simulated.Simulation results show that the errorrate of scheme one can be lower than schemes two2%-4%under the sameconditions of SNR...
