Body temperature is one basic physiological indicators and important basis for clinical disease and vital signs to judge. In clinical practice, rectal temperature, oral temperature, axillary temperature are usually important indicators as a measure of average value of coral temperature. Tradional temperature measurement is contact measrurement by using mercury thermometer, which has the advantages of stable performance,small error,etc, but shortcomings of long measurement time,cross-infection risk, mercury poisoning caused by glass broken and so on. Because sudden outbreak of epidemic diseases,traditional mercury thermometers can not meet requirement of measuring body temperature, especially in prevetion and control in 2003 SARS, 2004 bird flu, 2009 A H1N1 influenza and other epidemic diseases spreading.The infrared thermometer is the temperature measurement based on the principle of infrared radiation,which has the advantages of non-contact,long measuring distance, fast response, high sensitivity,high accuracy ,wide temperature range and widely used in military, medical, education, food testing, transportation and other fields.For the purpose of studying human body infrared temperature measurement system, this paper summarizes the background and current status of human temperature measurement, detailed describes the ARM processor,the hardware structure and software design of the system,takes the relevant experiment.The hardware structure of the system includes medical high-precision digital infrared sensor,ultrasonic distance measuring module,the ambient temperature sensor,ARM peripheral circuit and so on, and the software design of the system is modular design mainly in C language with the integrated development environment ARM's RealView MDK. Due to the external factor on the impact of infrared temperature measurement,the experiment about environmental temperature and distance factor is done and the relevant experimental data is analysised.The result provides an experimental basis to infrared temperature measurement system.Experiments show that compared with other systems, human body infrared temperature measurement system with ambient tempeatature compensation and distance compensation effectively reduces environmental temperature, distance and othre facetors,which has the advantage of non-contact, low power consumption, fast response, high sensitivity, accuracy high etc and is suitable for fast and accurate body temperature measurement in staff-intensive and large flow situation.
