With the problem of environmental pollution has become increasingly prominent, air quality model has become the field of environmental research focus. However, due to sea operational data to quantify a wide range of sources to simulate the growth cycle, the space requirements of the fine grid, the reference factor and complex factors, in the PC, the serial operating mode of the slow velocity anomalies become operational atmospheric model efficiency of the bottleneck, seriously hampering the air quality model in the daily environment simulation application. Therefore, the existing condition of the hardware laboratory environment, how fast, efficient and accurate numerical simulation to complete the atmosphere, becoming an important research direction in this field.This paper introduces the research background and significance, then the model of Models-3/CMAQ each module was carefully analyzed, and then comparative study of two parallel DNFS and the PVFS file system, parallel to the follow-up experiment selected the appropriate file platform; Secondly, the paper describes the MM5 model, SMOKE CMAQ model and operation model and the parameters of the installation configuration requirements; Finally, CMAQ model is analyzed in parallel, and then on the basis of this analysis is completed based on PVFS file system, parallel algorithm design. At the end of this article, parallel cluster system in the algorithm was tested and analyzed and compared the experimental results.This research work done as follows:(1) open question period, access to a large number of studies in the field of relevant literature, to understand Models-3/CMAQ models and high-performance cluster system theory and technology, respectively, both research and development to master the situation.(2) In order to optimize the parallel efficiency CMAQ model to select a suitable file system platform, DNFS and two parallel file system, PVFS made detailed comparative study.(3) the first phase of the experiment, comprehensive and systematic study of the Linux operating system, basic commands and commonly used tools, and then the foundation of the Linux script syntax. Then, on this basis, further modify the model compiled by the installation script to make it applicable to local operating system, the scheduled completion of the experiment platform model MM5, SMOKE and CMAQ model model installation. (4) the second phase of the experiment, the parallel analysis of CMAQ model can be based on the theory, design and implementation of PVFS file system based on parallel algorithms and experimental platform in the pre-installed on-site testing, evaluation of the model optimize performance advantages and disadvantages.
