In recent years, nonlinear control has become a very hot topic. However many researchers focus on time-delay nonlinear systems. Neural network (NN) applies especially to control complex nonlinear systems for its well approximation. Adaptive neural network control based on backstepping method has also received increasing attention. In this literature, in light of adaptive neural network method and backstepping method, we consider a class of time-delay nonlinear systems with bounded disturbance, and construct robust output feedback tracking controller based on Lyapunov stability theory. In this paper, we design full order observer and reduced order observer to solve the problem. The paper is organized as follows:Chapter 1:Some useful background knowledge are introduced, at the same time, we present not only research current situation at home and abroad but also theoretic significance and practical application.Chapter 2:Some basical preliminary knowledge on radial basis function (RBF) NN are presented in this chapter. We also mainly introduce the applying method which radial basis function NN is used to approximate nonlinear function.Chapter 3:We deeply research output feedback control for time-delay nonlinear systems with bounded disturbance. Firstly, we design full order observer for the systems, Secondly, in light of backstepping method, controller based on observer is proposed. Lastly, it is shown that the designed controller can render the closed-loop system stable in the sense of semiglobal boundedness with the help of changing supplying function idea.Chapter 4:According to the result of former chapter, we develop a reduced observer for time-delay nonlinear systems. By this means, the structures become simpler and easier to realize in engineering.Chapter 5:We summarize the result obtained and present future research.
