Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is a new technology of non-contact automatic identification.This thesis studies how to design the hardware and software of an intellectualized virus storage system based on RFID technology. The system works in LF band, i. e.125 kHz and communicates by inductance coupling.Hardware design is to use software Protel 99, which consists of tag, locker PCB and port PCB. A microcontroller IC C8051F126 on every locker PCB controls ten readers IC U2270B and one hundred antennae running data traffic with one hundred tags which are under cuvette every second to make sure the change of cuvette number and place, and then the data are transmitted through port PCB by 485 communication to the main PC to be jointly processed.Software design is to use C language for microcontroller IC C8051F126, whose process consists of drawing flow chart, confirm system clock, scan and lock check,485 communication and reading Flash list.Finally, software build was finished on main PC, which coordinates manage information system and hardware system to work together.
