In the information era, the life styles of human beings are more and more influenced by the development and application of computer network technology. Internet technology has been widely used in every field of the society. Inevitably, the security problem of computer network has become a very severe problem. How to make sure the security of the network has become one urgent problem to solve.The campus network is one important platform for information transmission, and the Web-Based High-school Administrative Management Information System (AMIS), academic teaching as well and digital campus life are all ensured by it. However, more and more sever challenges are faced to the information assets of campus, not only from external environment but also from internal environment, including spam, virus mail, and the hacker attacks. Poor safety awareness brings poor safeguards, as a result, documentation resources are lost. Therefore, an effective and intelligent network security system should be established to protect the campus information assets.Currently, there are many standards of information security such as ISO/IEC 27000, ISO17799:2005, ISO/IEC 17799, Information Technology Baseline Protection Manual (ITBPM)and so on. ITBPM is introduced to anlysize the security measures for information assets.On the basis of the analysis in security threats of campus, ITBPM is introduced in this paper. The admission business is discussed and analyzed and the safeguards are designed to different types of information assets. A simple and efficient way is provided to the safeguards of campus information assets.
