Autonomous navigation is one of the basic functions of intelligent mobile robots. Robot navigation normally involves self-orientation and location, obstacles avoiding and path planning. This paper focuses on robots autonomous navigation with multi-sensor data fusion technology. The thesis introduces the development history, situation of study and development direction of multi-sensor data fusion technology and the structure of the campus patrol robot at first. VC program are written to obtain the ultrasonic and infrared sensor data, as well as the camera data. Obstacle avoidance strategy and path planning method are discussed in the thesis. In the end, program is written, which partially realize the navigation function on the campus patrol robot platform. |
