Transmissions over wireless channels suffer from multi-path fading and co-channel interference. Cooperative Diversity incorporates MIMO and distributed technology. The keys of the cooperative diversity are the establishment of network protocols and performance analysis. Cooperation agreement required realize the distributed source coding and distributed technologies such as channel coding.MIMO technology to promote practical is the biggest benefit of cooperation diversity. Both the transmit and receive terminals have multiple antennas in traditional MIMO system, but it is not very realistic for small mobile terminals, which has led to MIMO technology is difficult to practical use in the cellular network and ad hoc network. Cooperative Diversity is a promising spatial diversity technique. Cooperative diversity is able to effectively use space resources to improve the performance of communication systems, including the upgrading of system capacity and increase data transfer rate, effective system to combat fading and reduce the probability of service interruptions, improve system service quality and reliability. In addition, the idea of cooperative diversity can also be applied to anti-interference communication, the basic method of anti-interference has direct sequence spread spectrum, frequency hopping, time hopping, as well as their hybrid applications, but these methods do not have the use of space resources.Cooperation agreements have commonly used:Amplify-and-Forward (AF) and Decode-and-Forward (DF). This paper analysis the outage probability on various cooperative agreement. This paper will focus on convolutional coding and Viterbi decoding algorithm to introduce a cooperation agreement, bit error rate from the perspective of cooperation once again to carry out performance analysis of communication protocols.
