Statistical case teaching plays a very important role in new courses of high school. The inevitable requirement of new curriculum reform in high school, the change of educational idea, and the transformation from impart education to the inquiry-style education made the new teaching model instead of the old ones. Statistical case teaching is produced under such situation; it is an inevitable trend of society and life. Therefore, the statistical case teaching study in high school carried out a great theoretical and practical educational value.This paper adopts the methods of literature study, theoretical research, statistical research and interviews and so on, mainly dedicates study how China's high school students learn statistical case, understand and master the statistical case teaching methods of high school teachers, and analysis the match degree between high school course standard and the existing materials as well as mutual needs improvement.Through this research, the following conclusions can be drawn: the practical work of high school statistical case teaching under the guidance of theory has a high flexibility, for teachers and students the requirements are very high. For the statistical case teaching, teachers should guide students transform learning method and thoughts. Advocate statistical case teaching with modern tools software, analysis the result, service our decision and life better and more accurately.Therefore, this paper presents many strategies and methods which should be paid attention to in statistical case teaching, provides some views and suggestions about statistical case learning and teaching, about the promotion of new course in high school.
