| The national defense education of universities & colleges is an important part of China's higher education. It's an essential approach and manner of undergraduate' mentality & politics education. The main task of China's universities' & colleges' national defense education is to publicize national defense idea, infuse national defense knowledge, cultivate national defense skills; it has the character of contemporary, effective, practical; and problems of indifference of the process, incomplete of overall planning, insufficiency of persons qualified to teach are still existing. universities' & colleges' national defense education has its unique value in undergraduate' mentality & politics education: in the aspect of sociology, universities' & colleges' national defense education is good for infusing of national willing, which is the essence of undergraduate' mentality & politics education; in the aspect of military science, it's good for cultivating national defense consciousness and patriotism, which is the main purpose undergraduate' mentality & politics education; in the aspect of psychology, it good for perfecting personality and mind, which is the base of undergraduate' mentality & politics education. Confronting the new century, new stage, and new mission, improve the effectiveness of undergraduate' mentality & politics education should notice the following four aspects: firstly, build of aim system, clarify the aims of national defense education of different period, region and object; secondly, build of measure, carrier, environment, carry on national defense education by the support of information technology and undergraduate' mentality & politics education platform; thirdly, build of regulation, establish law, act and policy of undergraduate' mentality & politics education which suit the new era; fourthly, build of personnel, construct a troop of persons qualified to teach, which meets the requirement undergraduate' mentality & politics education. |
