Xinjiang is located in China's northwestern border, covering an area of more than 160 million square kilometers, the total population of 18,462,600 people, one of the minority population 10,964,900 people, accounting for 59.39% of the total population, with eight countries bordering Russia, China's 56 ethnic groups in Xinjiang have has settled, there is one of 13 native Uighur and other ethnic groups, are important ethnic minorities live in our country at the same time, Xinjiang is also a multi-lingual and multi-language region. Currently, all types of schools at all levels in Xinjiang A total of 4,399,000 students, including minority students accounted for 57.8 percent, 265,000 people full-time teachers. Foundation stage of education, mainly the Uygur, Han, Kazak, Kirgiz, Mongolian, Xibe, Russia and other 7 kinds of language teaching, language minority languages in their daily lives is very important position.With the continuous deepening of reform and opening up, the minority nationalities in Xinjiang study of Chinese demand is also growing in recent years, Xinjiang vigorously promote bilingual education, policy support for increasing the nation bilingual education in primary and secondary schools developed rapidly, but there are still some of the problems faced with many difficulties.
