This paper starts with an analysis of quality and ability of Chinese international business negotiators. On the basis of relevant theories of negotiation, intercultural communication and intercultural training, this essay designs a training program. This program is aimed at promoting the intercultural competence of Chinese international business negotiators. This essay is an applied research which is aimed to give a resolution of practical problem.This paper is the first of its kind that integrates negotiation theories, intercultural communication theories, intercultural training theories, instructional message design, and instructional system design. The proposed training program is carried out by means of literature research, experiment research, comparison analysis, case study, field survey, and expert evaluation. The author designs part of the real training course and implements that to a certain group of people, who has been working as international business negotiators for some time, and shows it to the leader of that trade company. The evaluation results from the reflection of the participants and the expert, which turns out somewhat meet their needs.This essay turns out to be the first integration of negotiation,inter-cultural communication and training. The success of this trial could well be applied to social practice,and make contribution to the profession and industrialization of negotiation activities. The creativity of the essay lies in the fact that it is the first time that inter-cultural theories are applied to the training of business negotiator,in order to suit the needs of inter-cultural abilities of business negotiator of China,and make great contributions to the foundation of great business negotiation teams of China in the international business competition.
