Conflict between teachers and students of higher education institutions is a direct, open or recessive teaching opposing process owning to the difference in the number of values, objectives, status, resources between common undergraduate educative level's teachers and students of higher education institutions.This thesis expatiates on the background of choice item, the research purpose and meaning and the research status at home and abroad in the introduction. The main part of the thesis falls into four parts.The first section introduces the theory research logic starting of teachers and students of higher education institutions. On the one hand, on the basis of home and abroad scholars'definition of conflict, the thesis defined the meaning of conflict between teachers and students of higher education institutions; on the other hand, stated the sociology conflict theory and the current two educative conflict theories as the theoretical basis.The second section analyzes current situation and influence of the conflict between teachers and students of higher education institutions. There are the features that the reality and non-reality of conflict exists at the same time, and recessive characteristic is major according to the performance of the conflict; from the impact of negative and positive to deal with two aspects, and expressing two views of negative function theory and positive function theory.The third section analyzes cause of formation of conflict between teachers and students of higher education institutions from four angles of teachers, students, teacher-student relationship and teaching methods. Teachers are loyal to the role of groups, students question the legitimacy of inequality, both teachers and students themselves and each other's Role Identity is different and the coercive power and domination awareness etc implicit in the teaching methods, these are the most important cause of conflict.The last section from higher education institutions,teachers and students aspect to suggest reject strategy of teachers and students of higher education institutions. Higher education institutions should use conflict equipment——"safety valve", and establish conflict coordination mechanism, ensure system right of teacher-student and develop special ceremony to avoid defect conflict. Teachers need weakening their organize role, improve personal prestige and strengthen the sense of equality; students can strengthen self-constraint and excavate moral belief of respect teacher.
