Throughout the centuries across the east and the west, humanism and education have been jointly developing as well as reflecting the demands of the people.In the light of political and historical reasons, the Portuguese colonial government neglected the education system in Macau and hitherto Macau has not developed a satisfying education system. Therefore, it is crucial to develop humanism in the education curriculum., especially in senior Geography. The contents of senior Geography include integrated humanitarian materials which help cultivate students' intellectual development. The aforesaid aspects will be explained in detail in the first and the second phases of this paper. In the third phase, the humanism and senior Geography pedagogy of Macau will be analysed. The research targets include the present senior 3 students from government schools, private schools and missionary schools in Macau. Contents to be examined include topics and pedagogy, students' self-belongings, human and nature, environmental ethics, multi-cultures, globalization, arts, etc.In the fourth phase, the objectives and strategies of developing humanism in Geography will be suggested based on the research findings in the third phase, With the priority as students' development, the objectives will be to nurture students in emotions and values, highlight environmental ethics and self-esteem in their territory, inspire them in the pursue of arts, model themselves positively in daily lives and minimize the negative effects of the society with the economic development of Macau.
