Knowledge Management is a kind of managerial ideology, which emerged with the coming of the age of knowledge-based economy. It is also a kind of managerial technology and methodology, which takes the dominant position in management fields, for it is a kind of advanced and personalized managerial model. At present, with the implement of the strategy of Revitalizing the School with Scientific Research, the research on education is drawing more and more attention. The researches on education in high school have made a real achievement, while some problems cropped up at the same time, for example, "pseudo research" and "artificial flower" have appeared in some schools. So the introducing of the Knowledge Management ideology has great significance for the high school to improve the educational scientific research management.The methodologies of literature review and questionnaire survey are used in this thesis. On the basis of the investigation of the present situation of the study and the emerged problems, the author analyzed how to cooperate the two kinds of managements: the knowledge management and the research management, for the purpose of resolving the problems in the management of research on education in high school.This thesis is composed of six chapters. Chapter I serves as the introduction, in which the author presented the purpose, the significance, and the methodology of the study. The relative concepts are also classified in this chapter. Chapter II is the literature review. The background information of this topic is briefly analyzed, including the history of Knowledge Management and the present situation of the study of the management of research on education at home and broad. Chapter III discusses how the cooperation of the two kinds of managements in high school in three aspects: the importance, the feasibility, and the development stages. Chapter IV presents the results of the investigation on the present situation of the study. A lot of data and examples are analyzed. According to the research, there are some problems appeared in the leaders self-evaluation, the drive mechanism, the culture atmosphere of research. In chapter V, the suggestions and strategies of introducing the Knowledge Management into the educational scientific research management in high school is put forward. Concerning of the problems mentioned above, the author put forward the suggestions from three aspects: transforming the roles of the leadership, improving the operational mechanism, constructing the culture of research. Chapter VI is the conclusion of the thesis. In this chapter, not only the conclusion of this study is made, but also the possible problems and the point of the further research of the study is discussed.
