In the 1980s, when the reform of teacher education was going on, reflective teaching developed at an amazing speed as it was required by the professionalization and gradually became a strong theory which affected the practice of teaching in all countries. Affected by the theory of reflective teaching, educators in our country had begun to discuss and research it since the 1990s. However, study of reflective teaching is comparatively weak now and there are few essays about how to develop the teachers' ability of reflective teaching, especially in the field of physics.According to the situation of the research into reflective teaching and the requirement of new curriculum standards, I have been doing a research on reflective teaching based on my practice and experience in teaching physics for senior middle school students. I hope my research will be of some help to physics teachers.In this essay, I introduce the situation of reflective teaching research, the definition of it, the theoretical base of it, the process and methods of reflective teaching as well as several teaching models. Then I analyze its situation in the field of physics teaching for senior high schools. In the end, I put forward a reflective teaching mode by raising questions in a factual way. After being put into use in physics teaching, raising questions proves to be an effective way and is very operative and practical.This essay provides some practical methods to train physics teachers, equipping them with reflective ability and making them adjusted to new curriculum reform. It will surely contribute to promoting physics reflective teaching and it will be of great value for reference.
