| The competitive sports compete not only for a nation's political and economical strength and its capacity of science and technology, but more preferably also for sporting talents and it boils down to the competition for its reserved talents in that they are the foundation of the nation's athletic sports. Since the cultivation of the reserved talents is strategic to the progress of the competitive sports, only greater importance attached to the echelon construction of them can sustain the development of the competitive sports in our country. Practice has shown that whether a certain sport event of a nation can maintain its competitiveness in the rapidly developing international competitive sports community rests on the number and the quality of the nation's reserved talents for it, as well as the capacity of providing them continually. In any sport event there must be large numbers of participants who can make a wide range of choices for the talents, before the overall level of the athletes and the event can be raised. It has also been proved that the competitive sports will lose the competition if there isn't a solid foundation of the reserved talents which join in the sports in great force. Therefore it has been worthwhile for us to discuss and analyze the training of the reserved talents available for the sail-boating and sail-boarding in Jiangsu Province and the problems needed to be solved.The project employs the ways of literature review, questionnaire, comparative analysis, interviewing and surveying and mathematical statistics analysis to study the number, the sports grades, the education background of the reserved talents in the talent training system of Jiangsu sail-boating and sail- boarding, and the paper on this project also pays attention to the coaches of the event and continues to discuss the inadequacy in the systems of reserved talents cultivation and competition and training. According to the survey, it has been found that the level of Jiangsu sailing-boating and sail- boarding is not satisfactory with its position in or under the average compared with other provinces of our country. The number of people who take part in the sport event is tiny and it has become worse that the number hasn't grown but declined in its quantity and quality. The situation mainly attributes to the facts that the training organizations of the reserved talents for Jiangsu sail-boating and sail- boarding and the current competition of the teens' sail boating along with the training mechanism have not conformed to the rationality and the standards, for instance, the problem of the combination of sporting and coaching in some training centers, the inefficiency in the management, the imperfection both in the competition and the training mechanism, some drawbacks in coaches themselves and their own cultivation etc. It is just these factors that have hindered the development of the teen's sail-boating and sail-boarding in Jiangsu Province and its enhancement in competitiveness. In view of the above-discussed, this thesis analyzes the current situations of the coach teams of Jiangsu sail-boating and sail boarding, the scientific training in the province, scientific selection of athletes; the training conditions, the scientific management, the competition regime, the attitude of the authorities and their support, the talent training mechanism, and the athletes' education and at the end of the paper, the author suggests some solutions to the problems. |
