Traditional teaching has always been "Pre-formed Instruction"-teachers' mechanically teaching and students' passively learning. The introduction of Information Technology into instruction only makes the instruction from"People-filling" to "E-transmission"."Preformed instruction" has many drawbacks, which needs improvement. "Generation" ,like the first light of the day, illuminates the direction of the new curriculum reform, and leads the instruction in the informational environment change from "pre-formation" to "generation", that is,from "Pre-formed Instruction " to "Generative Instruction ". However, "Generative Instruction " in the informational environment does not mean full denying and abandoning all the traditional ways of instruction,It grows and develops based on them. Such improvement still needs further inquiry both theoretically and practically.With a series of reseach metheods,such as references research, survey and interview, case analysis, action research and so on, the author, on one hand, carries on a deep level of theoretical research and wants to construct new concepts and ideas, through criticism and reflection on predecessors' study results and personal experience ;on the other hand explores in practice in the teaching frontline. Theoretical research- practical exploration-more theoretical research- more practical exploration is the basic style. And the author gradually finalizes the thesis.First the author introduces the researching background and present status.The author finds that the majority of people are not clear about the related concepts to the subject of study, and even misunderstanding, not to mention specific concepts and practical aspects. There are many other problems of course.It is necessary to research and organize these content systematically.Following that ,the author explains some major terms: generation, generative instruction and generative instruction in the informational environment etc. And the author elaborates on the specific aspects of generative instruction, including the goals and objectives, the use of resources, the management of the instruction process and evaluation. Also the author elaborates on practical demands, including changing the way of thinking of teaching and learning, redeveloping of teacher-student relationship, updating of the concept of teaching design, and upgrading teaching wisdom. Then the case-analysis is included . Finally the author summaries the paper and makes relevant recommendations.
