At the turn of the century and in the face of the world trend of curriculum reform, and along with the growing profound change of social life. Physical study has already showed its importance. However, Student's physical study situation is not very optimistic. Students lack of interest in learning, the situation of truancy, tires of study universal existent, focus only on remembering the knowledge but not innovation and pay attention to the cultivation of critical capacity. And so on. This is certainly causes by various reasons. But the textbook as a bridge linking students and teachers, its important position is obvious.Inspect the existing five editions of high school physics textbooks. They all have the following aspects in different degrees. Pure display knowledge spot, the tunnel vision of subject content, unitary of the curriculum resources, separated from social and the student's life world. It make the teacher and the student should not be overlook, it makes teachers' and students' wrong teaching material view .Teachers' and students' wrong teaching method - - force-feed type teaching and study. Student's creativity is low, lacks critical spirit to the knowledge, can not innovation new knowledge. The rank system relations between teacher and student, students are in a passive position. The reason for this phenomenon is the knowledge of misconduct in the "haunted".The modern knowledge-view regards the knowledge as"objective""universal""value-neutral"and"ultimate",it is the result of minority expert's hard work under the rational instruction, it does not relate with the social need, and it is grows bit by bit .The experts are all has received strict training . Post-modern knowledge use the concept of post-modernism, knowledge sociology, philosophy of science's viewpoint on knowledge, look at knowledge from a completely different angle .It regard that the knowledge has"the cultural property","the localization""the value to ford into the nature", and it is the result of rationality with the non-rational, the knowledge is open to examines forever because it does not have the forever accuracy .It enabled people have a different understanding of knowledge. Post-modern knowledge redefined the nature of knowledge, has broken people's simple, static view toward knowledge. There are natural close relations between the textbook and knowledge. The physical textbook presents the physical knowledge by a systematic, scientific way to the student. The dominant thinking, attitudes, values will reflect in the textbooks by the editor in a looming way. Margin of this, the knowledge-view which the textbook editor holds will surely affects the textbook knowledge content he choice, organize, expression way. In summary, there are obvious relations among knowledge, knowledge-view and the textbook, using the reasonable factors of post-modern knowledge for reference, changes the compilation of the high school physics textbook suitably, make the textbook compilation more suitable to teacher's teaching and student's study.Draw on the knowledge of post-modern, the enlightenment of high school physics textbook displays in the following aspects: (1)increase electronic textbooks(2) seepage, conformity many discipline knowledge(3) increasing local knowledge(4) showing knowledge in a uncertainty and dynamic posture way(5) express knowledge in a"story"way.Of course, it also has many problems in using post-modernism knowledge to modify textbook compilation. But we should also realize the profound significance behind the difficult."Asked that ditch which clear, to have the source running water to come."Let us tap the favorable factors of post-modern knowledge, pursuit the source running water of physics education.
