Confucius' Enlightenment, The Education Of Modern Language Education

Confucian was the most prominent educator and thinker in ancie--nt China and was the founder of the teachings of Confucianism. His educational thoughts and teaching experiences have been one of the very precious cultural heritages. In his thoughts and practical experien-ces the human-centered-education has been shining everywhere. Opening the pages of Confucian Cannon one could easily catch some clips of his educational experiences, and the formalism could hardly be foun-d, nor conspicuous actions as well, what one could see were those shrewd and crisp enlightenments, inspirations on roads and around desks, reflections upon the scenes encountered, and the teachings full of individuality, whereas, all of these made Confucian the most reputa-ble and most successful educator in the history of China.At present there are variety of educational reforms, which is tendi-ng to be stronger and stronger. One important criteria of judging the high and low of a class has been ridiculously forged into such a way that '' the more ardent a class looks, the more relax the students get; the more communicate between teacher and students, the better; the newer the methods the teacher uses, the more subtle the class gets ''. In such a class one can only enjoy the manifestation of the teacher, hardly can the students learn anything substantially. This is really the betrayal against the target of the quality education of ''students central-ization''.Thoroughly implementing the quality education, taking students as the center of education, taking the development of student's individual-ity as the center of education, taking the possibility of student's devel--opment as the center of education, taking the masses education as the center of education, are the major contents of the education of Student's-Centralization. Only if the education of Student's-Centralization has been emphasized sufficiently can students become the masters of the classes, and the harvesters of various knowledge; Only if the edu--cation of Human-centralization has been emphasized can the classes become intelligent, wise, vigorous, free and rich.
