This research explored the actuality of materials for children in the view of role play. The author thinks that materials are all the goods and toys the infants used.This research collected data through non-participatory observation. After analyzing the data, the author concluded that materials were great correlative to behaviors of children. And the author considered that materials' character, function, fluidness, number, kind (et al) influenced the behaviors of children.The author discovered that strong structural materials could inspire younger children's behaviors, but go against with their continuity. Whether the materials are abundant or not will influence the abundance of children's behavior. The fluidness of materials will help children enrich contents and types of their behaviors. The amount and quality of materials influence role playing. Materials with many categories are propitious to behaviors while material with limited categories will result in more non-correlatives.In the author's opinion, teachers should realize that "materials are an important curriculum resource", they should understand the materials' value and introduce them into kindergarten's curriculum in an appropriate way.
