《The standard of PE and health curriculum》was put forward in 2003. Guangdong, Shandong, Hainan and Ningxia were appointed as the first experimentation provinces of China Senior Middle School Physical and Healthy Curriculum Reform in 2004. Then, followed by many provinces such as Jiangsu in 2005, the national physical department hopes to spread the reform everywhere of our country in 2007.The research on curriculum sounds to be superficial in our country because of late start and confused theories. There were some articles proposed "the great unit" that consists of "18 class hours", the words and expressions which confuses the unit and the module. This inevitably makes the basic implementations confused; On the other hand, the practice on curriculum reform started late, the research on the whole reform insufficient, so the character of high school physical education and the theory about optional course needs further research as well as complement. How to construct a complete unit, how to reasonably solve the problems between student's foundational development and the individuality development, how to optimizes the teaching process, so as to realize the match and combination of the basic term teaching material and the vice- item of teaching material, how to choose suitable compulsory teaching material, how toorganize the national compulsory teaching material......all of these are the questions must besolved in practice. The thesis analyzes the curriculum standards and practice cases deeply, and addresses the theory system of constructing scientific unit view and the perfect high school sports and the healthy curriculum option, widens the ways of teaching for teachers, promotes the perfect strategy of "the host-vice item match".
