| Since the 1980s, the sex ratio at birth in China has been comparatively high, this problem has attracted more and more attentions. There are deep social, economic and cultural background behind such phenomenon.This thesis mainly analyzes the influence of social factor into the sex ratio at birth, and takes the way of link qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. In qualitative analysis, the paper uses gender visual angle to analyze the influence of some social factors such as social security system, urbanization level, the employment structure and the employment level of women into the sex ratio at birth in China, suggests that these social factors can affect the gender culture through some paths, then affect the sex ratio at birth. In quantitative analysis, this paper analyzes the influence of urbanization, the employment structure and the employment level of women into sex ratio at birth based on the sample data from the 5th censns of China. Finally, the paper puts forward the counter measures. |
