Rational use of local cultural resources, development and implementation of local curriculum to meet the needs of students and show the characteristics of the school, as well as promoting the students' comprehensive quality by using a variety of learning methods, are keys to promote the new curriculum reform. The proposed Tibetan culture as a study will be incorporated into the curriculum perspective, through which a local course on Tibetan culture is to be developed based on the investigation and analysis of values of Tibetan culture and educational functions of the courses. And on the basis of the rational and objectives of the Tibetan culture, the contents of the courses are selected, the ideas of choosing teaching materials are designed, trying to create a more rational model of local cultural courses, for the purpose of improving Mainland Tibetan class (or school) students' comprehensive knowledge of the language. |
