People have entered the 21st century, in which knowledge becomes the society dominant. Knowledge is playing an ever more significant role in society advancement. With the development of knowledge science research, increasingly importance has been attached to tacit knowledge, which is regarded as the source of creation. With the further development of society, web-based instruction will be another new channel, place, ideas of education, which is different from traditional school education. It is more actually meaningful that probing the method and tactics of tacit knowledge's translation and sharing in the web-based instruction system. On the one hand it will open up the a new field of tacit knowledge inquiry and the new way of innovation education, on the other it will add some new content about tacit knowledge's translation and sharing to the research of web-based instruction system.This paper, beginning with the discussion of basic relation between tacit knowledge and explicit knowledge, based on the theory of knowledge conversion's four styles, puts forward the tacit knowledge's species in web-based education system, after that, analyzes the meaning of tacit knowledge's conversion. Then it puts a lot of emphasis on exploring the tacit knowledge's conversion tactics, including: drawing knowledge process chart, contrasting the teacher's and student's solving question's train of thought, writing learning case and implementing web tutorial system, starting web deep discussion, setting up forum knowledge governor. Taking a Chinese text ,<>,from junior high school for example, the paper explores the general design and development tactics of web-based instruction courseware, which used to impart tacit knowledge.This paper may be divided into four parts:The first part, according to the tacit knowledge inquiry outcome, proceeding from the component element of web-based instruction system, presents there are four kinds of tacit knowledge in the web-based instruction system, including: about web-based course content's, about teachers and students'web-cognition and web-technology and about web-learning ideas.The second part, based on the theory of tacit knowledge and explicit knowledge's translation's four styles: socialization, externalization, combination and internalization, first, analyses the mean of tacit knowledge's translation in web-based instruction system, then puts a lot of emphasis on explore six strategies which are used to realize the tacit knowledge's translation in web-based instruction system, discussed from two standpoints: realization of tacit knowledge's translation based on explicit knowledge as an agency and direct translation from one's tacit knowledge to another.The third part, because teaching content is an important part of education system, web-based courseware is the teaching content of web-based instruction system, which is the...
