Content abstract: The grammar, as an important composition of language, is a chief and common cognition—thought mode and habit that should follow to reach certain intercommunication purpose when people intercommunicate with words. During the intercommunication, the grammar restricts speaking main body and provides multi-choice aggregation for speaking main body; on the other side, the grammar restricts listening main body and guides listening main body tospeaking main body. Even though high school students can obtain certain sensibility cognition for the grammar from daily language acquirement, this sensibility cognition doesn't resolve all problems of language practice of students; meanwhile, for the function of grammar teaching to students' thought development, it is necessary to teach grammar in Chinese of high schools. Traditional grammar teaching of high schools doesn't resolve "What to teach" and "How to teach", that is course content choosing and teaching policy, so that the grammar teaching in high schools is weakened, even completely canceled because it doesn't reach scheduled target, and the grammar teaching becomes a problem that is not resolved in Chinese teaching of high schools. After more than 10 years of weakening grammar teaching in Chinese of high schools, it is necessary to absorb and use new results in language research domain for reference, re-know grammar, re-examine and locate grammar teaching, reform grammar teaching system and teaching policy that aren't rational formerly in grammar teaching of high schools and try to discuss the approach to improve grammar teaching of high schools to be schedule target. Here, try to make efforts to provide individual relative advices.
