Vocational education is a important part of Chinese educaion system .but the study of vocational education is not treated seriously . in the past time , the most part of this article analyse the development of vocational education mode . from1840' s to 1950' s. the beginning of this article is industrial which criticize the old feudal educational system ,and developed productive force .because of industrial education has some shortcoming ,which couldn' t solve the problem of Chinese society . then it was replaced by vocational education ,being Huangyanpei and Taoxingzhi' hardwork especially Chinese society need, vocational education was set up and developed fast ,, for the vocational education still have some shortcoming , it couldn't educated students with good skills and good morals , then Chinese vocational education went downhill. But it's decline didn't mean that it had solve the problems of Chinese society ,on the contrary , it mean the crisis more serious, so making the second life of vocational education .when Auti-japans war and liberate war breakout ,vocational education had to stop again .the article in order to let reader know more about vocational education of this period.
