Primary and secondary teachers' research has been viewed as critical to curriculum reform success. The dissertation hopes to demonstrate a way of connecting the teaching practice of teachers with the theory research of education researchers, which is intended to deal with the constraints which typically or accidentally hinder the practical implementation of the new curriculum reform in the classroom. The way is named the curriculum action research in curriculum implementation.By analyzing the theoretical and practical foundations of the curriculum action research in curriculum implementation, the writer believes that the curriculum action research in curriculum implementation is very necessary and possible for teachers and education researchers. It is the writer's contention that this way helps develop teachers into reflective practitioners, make curriculum implementation more effective, and promote teachers professionalism in the end. Moreover, the processes of this way can also help create more equally collaborative inter-relationship between teachers and education researchers. And the latter can get more chances to observe the curriculum reform practice, to dig out valuable research subject matters, and then to make their work available and meaningful.The dissertation is divided into six components: an introduction, the main body, the conclusion, references, an epilogue, and the published articles of the writer.There are four chapters in the main body.Chapter One: curriculum implementation and curriculum action research. The discussion reveals that teachers doing curriculum action research during the process of curriculum implementation can make curriculum implementation more effective.Chapter Two: the analysis of the curriculum action research in curriculum implementation. Three questions are considered in this part, that is, the theoretical and practical foundations, the main viewpoints and characteristics, and the general processes, methods and assessment.Chapter Three: teachers and researchers in the curriculum action research in curriculum implementation. The expected duties and the improving of the ability of teachers and education researchers are concerned.Chapter Four: resistance and solution to the curriculum action research in curriculum implementation. This part raises the resistance and offers possible solution.
