Under The Guidance Of Science And Engineering Research Study On The Construction Of Excellent Courses

At the beginning of the 21 century, the change from elite education to popular education in our higher education and the further reformation of elementary education bring us new opportunity and challenge. Facing up to the problem how to educate a talented person with enterprising spirit and ability of a high level and overall scientific attainments, the State Education Commission starts the project in time. They are preparing to build 1000 top quality curriculums in 3 or 5 years in order to improve teaching quality of higher education. How to realize the top quality curriculum's intension and purpose and the way to build top quality curriculums proves to be the problems needed to be solved urgently.In this article the present researcher selects the electromagnetic field and electromagnetic wave curriculum building in the speciality of electronic information engineering as an example. On the basis of investigating the mode of training talented person in higher education home and abroad, we bring forward the concept that is building top quality curriculum by way of carrying out research-based studying. We summarize feasibility and necessity of building top quality curriculum by way of carrying out research-based studying and explore key points during the implement of students' special subject study theoretically. We also cany out special subject study in grade 00 and grade 01 majoring in electronic information engineering in the curriculum of electromagnetic field and electromagnetic wave in practice and design the network platform to assist the smooth development of special subject study. We bring forth new ideas that we structure the tactics guiding the implement of special subject study and assessing system, we also initially explore the building of top quality curriculum during the education of the electromagnetic field and electromagnetic wave curriculum.
