Mankind has stepped into knowledge and economy times with thefeatures of information theory network and new ideas in the 21th century.With the promotion of the times, educational contents and methods havenew requirement aimed at the goal and the pattern of cultivating talents.The development of mathematics education provides operating platformfor researches in other fields. So the development of mathematics thoughtshas a very important impact on improving national quality.Self-regulating study is an educational practice. The thesis anlyses itstheoretical basis and present conditions. Dialectical thoughts are superiorin the development of undergraduate thoughts and creative thoughts are inrising trend. Aduanced mathematics is in a dynamic state itself. Combinedwith the facts that advanced mathematics has high capacity, certain depthand width, the thesis analyses thoughts differences between advancedmathematics and elementary mathematics, and clarifies the possibility andnecessity of self-regulation applied in the teaching of advancedmathematics courses. By means of firsthand materials from experimentalresearches, we have confirmed its feasibility, thereby we have alsoindicated self-regulation is a forceful tool to promote the development ofmathematics thoughts. Self-regulation is a rare weapon whether it is to develop mathematicsculture or it is to improve teaching effect. Its application and masterestablishes good basis for lifelong studying. The problem is that it shouldbe further spread.
