Creativity is the tiptop administrative levels thinking. At the present time there are many the research results concerning creativity education and training, but no one on checking the students' creativity in the exam questions. This thesis analyzed the status quo and limitations of the college exam and indicated Chinese college exam was lack of checking the creativity. Thereafter, this thesis summed up and explained the meaning, framework, arrangement and thinking mode of the creativity. On the base of this, the thesis also investigated and analyzed the meaning, principles, factors, modes, ways , the necessity of checking the creativity in the college exam and the college exam system reform and it concluded the new ideas from the theory and practice perspective.The writer thought that it was very important to check the creativity in the college exam which was called "homologous creativity " , referred the ability of resolving the new questions using the knowledge and skills learned all alone; the principles of Checking the creativity in the college were that students were given enough time to consider the problems, the individual diversity of students were recognized and the creativity was checked with the subject characteristic from more perspectives and arrangements; Checking the creativity in the college exam should pay more attention to examine radiation , agility, original creation and apperceive of thinking and reflect the creativity from the new style questions in the college exam. In order to reach the aim, the writer thought that the college exam system should be reformed,Criteria should be diversify and the synthetic exams including experimentations and interview should be added; the college exam should be showed the creativity, entirely tested all respects knowledge, made open questions with different keys so as to arouse students' creativity. At last, the writer revealed that the creativity was inherent of people but not someone' s genius; To cultivate the creativity should be regarded as the education aim to cope with the relations between the exam and teaching; Checking the creativity environment should be set up.
