Moral Examine Human Rights Issues In Population Control

People home and abroad have attached great importance to the population problems since the ancient times. Through focusing on concrete population problems, such as the issues of population size, quality and structure and so on, they simply attend to superficial aspects rather than tackling the roots of the population problems in reality, relying on the execution of population policies by force. The paper starts with human rights involved in population control and attempts to probe various contradictions of human rights in controlling population, one of the sources of population problems. Meanwhile, the paper tries to solve the existing and possible problems through morality and self-discipline.This paper first explores the human rights problems in solving the population problems through Chinese and Western population thought history. The West simply holds the personal human rights, whereas, China stresses the collective human rights. Following, the paper continues to analyze the contradictions between the personal human rights and collective human rights, national human rights and other countries' human rights, personal human rights and others' human rights as well as different human rights under the background of reinforcement of personal rights consciousness and the necessity of maintaining the collective rights. On the basis of it, the paper puts forward and tries to expound the ways to grasp the limit of population control and freedom of human rights, to enhance the promotion from being disciplined by others to self-discipline, in trying to coordinate various contradictions of human rights and solve the population problems at their root, under the guidance of correct understanding of collectivism population morality and population value.
