Teacher stress is always a topic concerned of the world. The most of research about teacher stress quoted definition of teacher stress is that proposed by Kyriacou and Sutcliffe(1978). Teacher stress may be defined as a response syndrome of negative affect by a teacher usually accompanied by potentially pathogenic physiological and biochemical changes resulting from aspects of the teacher's job. Over the years, researchers had studied the topic and got lots of achievements. Certainly there also have some limits in studies of teacher stress. Firstly, the most of the studies are cross-sectional design. As we known, there have some limits in cross-sectional research. It cannot rule out the role of third variables. On the other hand, the cross-sectional design is inappropriate for the establishment of causal links. Secondly, the studies of teacher stress are not enough to argue the role of occupation satisfaction between teacher stress and health conditions. So present article would use questionnaires to study the relationship of teacher stress and health conditions. The researches consist of two parts. Firstly, longitudinal study was used to explore the change and relationship of teacher stress and health conditions for the same subjects respectively when they are student teachers and native teachers. Secondly, cross-sectional design was used to study the role of occupation satisfaction between teacher stress and health conditions for young teachers. The results of the present research were as follows. Firstly, it found that stress of novice teachers was greater than that of student teachers significantly on workload factor. It also find that health conditions of novice teachers was worse than that of student teachers significantly, especially on emotion factor. The results of relative analysis show that the relationship between teacher stress and health for novice teachers was significantly stronger than that for student teachers. Secondly, the results of regression analysis show that occupation satisfaction variable can moderate the relationship between teacher stress and health. Moreover, there has different role of occupation satisfaction for different demographic variables. The innovation in this study is to explore stress and health conditions of novice teachers using longitudinal design. It is significant for development of novice teachers. Moreover, the result of study show that occupation satisfaction plays different role for different demographic teachers. So it suggests that education management department should adopt appropriate measures to moderate teacher stress.
