The moral education has been an ancient and practical subject. Though great importance have been attached to it in the history teaching. The moral education is rarely mentioned in the teaching of culture history. Our study on the issue starts at that concerned with the research on moral education, china now puts more stress on the macroscopic exploration then the microscopic one. We also emphasize the theory study rather than practical operation. Without the combination of theory and practice insisting on the Chinese socialist way of moral education, we will be in a negative in the international competition in future. Based on the previous research, the very study centered on the moral education in the teaching of cultural history and provides the author's view on the assistant role the latter play.First is the connection between history teaching and moral education. It could be described as fallows: Regarding the aim, history teaching is a means, and usual means of the moral education while the latter is one of the formers aim. As for the content, the history teaching plays the role of carrier. And in terms of the process, history teaching is the main approach of moral education. Finally, concerned with evaluation, history teaching is the basis. Only through the evaluation of history teaching can we conclude whether the moral education has been carried out.According to the above analysis it can be conclude that history teaching is related to the moral education in so many ways that they can't be set apart, and our history teachers could not complete our assignment unless full awareness of their concretion.Second is the connection between cultural education and moral education. In general, they are influenced and restricted by each other. Judging for its position, cultural history teaching holds a special position in the moral education to some extent it's as vital as the nation's fate. Respecting the content the cultural history contains lots of overt and covertmaterial of moral education, and in light of its function, the cultural history is irreplaceable compared with other subjects of history.Thirdly, how the teaching of cultural history serve the moral education. if we intend to bring it into full ploy, we ought to form a system involving its aim, content regulation, principal, method organization, process and education. Thus we can realize our intention by matching it with the revolution of the national entrance examination of colleges.All in all, both the teaching of history and the cultural history have close connection with the moral education. Only by our effort of all fields can we bring about our intention.
