The 21st century is a century of informatization, the value of information is penetrating into every aspect of our society at a more rapid pace than ever before. Educational informatization, as an important content and index in the cross-the-century educational reform, has been greatly included into the new round reform in education in various countries all over the world. It is required that the full advantage of the modern science and technology should be made to achieve the best in our teaching, that is computer-cored multi-media technology, and the essay here is right about a research on how to apply the multi-media technology into our practical Chinese teaching in middle schools.At he beginning of the essay, the writer makes a remark on the practical situation of the application of the multi-media technology home and abroad at present, and therefore it lays the foundation for the later raised problem for research and serves as an explanation for the meaning of the research.In the first chapter, the functions of the multi-media technology is touched, then the application of these functions in the Chinese teaching in middle schools and the role it has played have been analyzed: the variety of the exterior stimulation is helpful for creating a better Chinese teaching atmosphere and large information is good for widening the teacher' s as well as the student' s view, etc.The second chapter, throws some lights on the theoretical support of applying multi-media technology into teaching, it is the doctrine of constructionism. The premise of the research on the multi-media-aided Chinese teaching is the change of the role of the teachers of Chinese. If we say the multi-media technology is a massive magic rod of great power, then the teacher is the great magician who dominates the rod, and if the role of the teachers and their views in teaching remain unchanged, the new technology will find no way to enter the field of teaching.The above two chapters are the foundation of the essay, and based on it, the essay further explains the Chinese teaching process and the fundamental task with the technical support of multi-media technology in middle schools, the designing and making of the teaching files, the cases of teaching which are arranged in three chapters respectively.With the application of the multi-media technology into Chinese teaching, there appear a particular teaching process and the basic teaching task. The students will change will change their ways from sitting in the class and only listening to their teachers to the ways of their independent study, active investigating, and their co-operation in study, so far and so forth.The terminal beneficiaries are the students and therefore the change of their ways in study is one of the fundamental teaching tasks.The application of the multi-media technology into Chinese teaching must be based on the teaching files, How to choose the right teaching files must be decided by the teaching aims, then the right Chinese files can be designed in accordance with the right tools in the guidance of the guiding lines and principles in the files designing.The teaching cases of the multi-media aided Chinese teaching further proves the theoretical basis for applying multi-media technology into teaching and the principles in guiding the practical process of Chinese teaching, and the designing of the files.The purposes to be achieved in this essay are: to describe the effect of the application of the multi-media technology into Chinese teaching and its theoretical basis, to analyze the Chinese teaching process after the technology' s introduction, and this multi-media-aided Chinese teaching will change the students' way of their Chinese studying thus arouse their interest in the subject.
