This article aims at the phenomenon of parts of students' lower chemical achievements in non-key middle school, and analyses and investigates the cause. The aim is to hope many chemical teachers, especially the teachers in non- key middle school, pay close attention to the problem and suit the remedy to the case. To improve the students' total quality.The article raises the significance and importance of studying this problem, and analyses the current situation. The author selects several representative key- middle schools and non-key middle schools to research their students and teachers with several methods. The article compares the students and teachers in key middle school with those in non-key middle school through two aspects of affecting the students' cause. The author analyses the results of investigation and the data according to her own teaching experience, points out the cause of the students' lower chemical achievement in non-key middle school. First, finding out the students' self shortage in non-key middle school from intelligence, non-intelligence, studying methods, habits, basic knowledge and so on. Second, finding out the effect of outside factor to the students from the teachers' self-quality , teachers' teaching, media, school, family and society and so on. The author points out some improvement methods. The article has the certain reference role to many chemical teachers.
