This thesis makes a comparative study of contem-porary rural educational theories in the foreign countries. Throughwhich we hope to find some enlightenments to chinese rural educa-tional theoretical research and educational reform.Nowadays, there are many defects in the Chinese rural educa-tion, for example, we ignore the importance of rural education,and fail to deal with the relation between individual's overall devel-opment and rural education's other functions, and so on, so it'ssignificant to learn from the foreign rural educational theories.There are three parts in this thesis:The first part is about the historical foundation of contempo-rary foreign rural educational theories and the comparative study ofsome rural educational conceptions.In the second part, it introduces four contemporary foreign ru-ral educational theories and analyzes their acdemic significance.The third part makes a study of their basic characteristics andfuture tendencies, which enlighten chinese rural educational reformand its theoretical research. |
