Yunnan Investment In Human Capital

My study of the investment in human capital in Yunnan is based on the achievements in human capital research . This thesis starts by giving a brief introduction to the function of human capital in economic development and argue that the key to rapid and sustainable development of the economy of Yunnan is to increase the investment in human capital, raise the amount of human capital,give a fresh impetus to economic development and improve its self-reinforcing ability. Finally, it suggests some solutions to the problems facing the investment in human capital in Yunnan. Accordingly, this thesis is devided into four sections. In Section One, the basic theory is given by analyzing the characteristics of investment in human capital, the major areas content of human capital investment and the function of human capital in economic development. In Section Two, the present situation of Yunnan~s human capital and its problems are diagnosed. In Section Three, the causes are analyzed. The Fourth Section is focused on suggestions and solutions to the problems.
