Research On The Management And Countermeasure Of Amateur Tennis Competition In Kunming

With the development of national fitness program and the success of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, the amateur tennis in China has made rapid development. In recent years, Kunming has met the rapid development in tennis and amateur tennis competition is increasing every year. As the amateur tennis tournament prizes are increasingly high, it stimulated people’s initiative to participate in amateur tennis.However, due to weak economic foundation, insufficient professional organizations knowledge, limited capability of arbitration and the ignorance to amateur tennis competition from the leaders, Kunming has met urgent problems in the organization and management of amateur tennis tournament. It is a rather thorny difficulty to organize amateur tennis tournament in great efficiency.This thesis summarizes the international and domestic theoretical research results, using the research methods of literature data, questionnaire, expert interviews,mathematical statistics, logical analysis to investigate the main amateur tennis competitions in Kunming, taking the respondents including enthusiasts, tennis referee,tennis tournaments organization managers and relevant personnel investigation. Then this thesis reaches the following conclusions:(1) Organizations of amateur tennis tournament in Kunming are mainly in the autonomous community-based, which, to a certain extent, has promoted the development of tennis in Kunming, and the development of overall fitness. However,the expertise tennis tournament of it is relatively lack of organization and management.(2) The funding of the amateur tennis tournament of Kunming comes mainly from the tournament organizers. This sole source is due to the lack of communication and cooperation with the market, fewer sponsors.(3)The amateur tennis referees are mainly college students, retired tennis players and coaches. The majority of amateur tennis referees are without referee license and lack of judging experience and capacity. Kunming amateur tennis tournament mainlyemploys credit system. As the contestants is relatively not professional, the contestants emotional self-control need improvement, as well as the controversial score on the accuracy in placement.(4) Kunming amateur tennis tournament lacks professional organization and management personnel, organization and management experience. Also, the time of the amateur tennis tournament, as well as location, registration fees, bonus rounds, the competition system arrangement, are not reasonable. Event the safety precautions are lacking. human and material resources are sufficiently employed.(5) The amateur tennis tournament in Kunming is growing, as well as the number of people involved in amateur tennis league. However, its development has not attracted the attention from the government, Tennis Association and the relevant departments, leading to the lagging development of amateur tennis in Kunming.
