Errors in learning mathematics is inevitable. Every coin has two sides, so do errors. In some way, If teachers study errors, we can help students to recognize their own problems and improve their sills in solving mathematics problems. Meanwhile, teachers can understand the students better in learning mathematics and know how to make the class more efficient. Teachers also improve themselves in teaching mathematics.Equation algebra in middle school mathematics is a connecting link between the preceding and the following. Linear equation in one variable in the middle school mathematics is the end-result of all the other types of equations. Based on the importance of linear equation in one variable, this paper aims to help students in Grade Six and Grade Seven to rearrange and analyze the errors they make, which can provide a valuable reference for teachers when they are teaching linear equation in one variable. The problems this paper intends to solve:1. How many types of errors do the most of students make in learning linear equation in one variable?2. What are the main causes of errors when students are learning linear equation in one variable?3. How should teachers improve teaching linear equation in one variable in class. The survey of 151 students in four different classes of two schools shows the main errors. They are about 15 categories, such as bracket error, calculation error, to denominator leakage by integer and fractional confusion basic nature and the equality of basic properties.Suggestions on the errors that students make in learning linear equation in one variable.(1) to let the students understand the rules of linear equation in one variable and the process of the form of the rules.(2) to get students to strengthen the knowledge points by comparing(3) to arouse students to find errors by themselves and make records of their own errors(4) to let students to develop the habit of good wring(5) to encourage students to improve the ability in calculating(6) to let students pay attention to the classification of letters. |
