During the process of curriculum reform, a teacher is one of essential factors which will have much influence on the curriculum reform. Good quality of teachers will promote students to learn actively, to accept new knowledge critically and to apply new knowledge to original knowledge structure effectively. Moreover, a good quality of teacher is conducive to the construction of teachers, and accordingly to enhance the education level comprehensively. Combining with her internship experience,the author analyzes current issues of teacher quality in primary school and proposes the improvement strategies for reference.The author first launched the background and significance of the topic, then illustrated the core concepts of this study and integrated literature review to understand the current situation of Chinese teachers’ quality in primary school. Through five grade-six Chinese teachers’ interview, the author inspected teachers’ professional philosophy and morality. Besides, the author tested teachers’ professional knowledge through questionnaire, and then analyzed collected information through SPSS. Learning from professional classroom observation scale and combining with classroom teaching evaluation form, the author marked other teachers’ teaching design, teaching implement, teaching effect during observing class and summarized in Excel to test teachers’ professional ability and clarified the currently condition and existed problem of Chinese teachers’ quality in primary school. Finally, based on existed problem, the author proposed strategies to enhance the teachers’ quality from professional philosophy, morality, professional knowledge, and professional ability aspects to help Chinese teachers in primary school improve their professional quality and cultivate students much better.
