The Silk Road has always been a hot issue. As the strategic concept of" One Belt and One Road" has been put forward and come into practice rapidly, a new round of discussion and study has begun. Students of Middle School, as the future of our country, must have acquaintance with this knowledge, but the introduction of the knowledge of the Silk Road in the prevailing history textbook is relatively less. In order to further strengthen students’ understanding of the knowledge of the Silk Road and offer teachers richer and more accurate teaching materials to reference in the process of preparing lessons, this paper is trying to integrate the relative knowledge of the Silk Road, facilitating study and research. Due to the multifarious and disorderly character of the knowledge of the Silk Road, this paper only selects the Silk Road in Han Dynasty as the research object, which lays the foundation for future research. This paper mainly applies relevant theories and knowledge of history, historical geography, the subject of Silk Road study, pedagogy, psychology and so on in arranging the concept, classification, teaching content and teaching method of the Silk Road systematically, and mainly focuses on solving the problems of "what to teach" and "how to teach" in the process of teaching and learning of Silk Road. This paper mainly consists of three sections:The first part is the concept and classification of the Silk Road. It mainly includes the proposition of the concept of the Silk Road and its specific meaning, and then it emphatically introduces the classification of the Silk Road and this paper’s research field.The second part is the teaching contents of Silk Road in Han Dynasty. Take Han Dynasty as historical background, and focus on solving the problem of "what to teach" in the process of teaching and learning of Silk Road, mainly including the natural landscape along the road, the countries, the religions, the jurisdiction of the Western Regions by the Han Empire religion and their operating conditions etc.The third part is the methods of teaching and learning of Silk Road in Han Dynasty. Take the contents of courses as the clues and focus on the problems of "how to teach" in the teaching process. Firstly, in terms of the compilation of textbooks, the supervision strength should be reinforced. Secondly, the teachers should master the basic professional competence and at last, the students should possess certain learning methods during the process of learning. Only in this way can the completeness and effectiveness of teaching be achieved.The last part is the conclusion, and one case of teaching and learning of Silk Road is attached to the end of the context. By way of real cases, we hope to better apply the Silk Road to the real teaching process in order to better solve the real teaching problems.
