The application of mathematics has penetrated into every aspect of social life, cultivating and improving the students’ ability of mathematics application is very important, and it is the process of mathematical that using the mathematical knowledge solve practical problems. So the strength of the students’ ability of mathematization directly affect the students’ ability of mathematics application. Developing and improving students’ ability of mathematization is a important precondition of training and improving students’ ability of mathematics application. But only a clear understanding of students "mathematical ability" of the current situation can only be aimed at the existing problems, put forward effective methods to improve the students’ ability of mathematization.The current research on mathematization mainly concentrated in the guidance of mathematization to mathematics teaching, but the mathematization’s final purpose is to teach students mathematical ability, improve the students’ ability of mathematization. But now research on students’ ability of mathematization is relatively rare, and it is in the blank that investigate the current situation of students’ ability of mathematization from mathematization’s four levels. Therefore, the author studied the mathematical thought and the related theoretical literature, combined with some disadvantages existing in the current high school mathematics education,and think from four levels in the process of mathematization to study students’ ability of mathematization. This thesis mainly contain the following six parts:The first and second part is the introduction and review of this topic research as the foundation of this research; The third part mainly elaborated the research design that the high students’ present situation of mathematization ability and influence factors of; The fourth part analysis of the results of the survey and the interview according to the third part of the study design; The fifth part mainly elaborates the conclusion after analyzing the result of the investigation; The sixth part is the summary of the research on the whole.In study design:firstly, the author used the "senior students’ mathematical ability tests" to investigate and research the students’ present situation of mathematization ability; Secondly, the author used" the influence factor of high students’ mathematization ability questionnaire" to explore the problems of students in the process on the various levels of mathematical; Thirdly, further explore the main reason that lead to problems through interviews with students; Finally, the author puts forward the more targeted teaching strategies to improve students’ ability of mathematization.Based on the present situation of senior students "mathematical ability" test:For the common actual problem, high student overall in the second level and third level of the process of mathematical ability gap between relatively wide; On the horizontal mathematical level girls’ level is significantly higher than boys’, but girls’ is lower than boys’ on the longitudinal mathematical level. For uncommon, more flexible, open the actual problem and solution is not regular, the mathematization ability of students is unsatisfactory, even not up to the first level of capacity requirements.Through the analysis of the results of the survey, the author thinks the main factors that influence the high students’ mathematization ability of are fllowing factors:The students’ mathematics reading ability is poor; Mathematical thinking ability is poor; Mathematics application consciousness is not strong; Mathematics foundation is not solid; Computing ability is weak; Confidence of learning mathematics is not enough.Therefore, the author puts forward the following teaching strategies to improve students’ mathematical ability:Cultivate the students’ mathematics reading ability; Cultivate students’ ability and habits of knowledge systematization; Cultivate the students’ ability of mathematical thinking; Improving student’s consciousness and self-confidence of mathematics application.This study reveals that the senior students’ the present mathematization ability, at the same time explores the problems at all levels, and accordingly the above content puts forward more targeted teaching strategies to improve the students’ ability of mathematization. It effectively improve students’ ability of mathematization, at the same time provides reference for the mathematics teaching, has a certain practical value.
