Picture books as a special text by combining form, has long been eager love of children and even adults. It’s important to the development of children’s value in today’s society has been known for people, and has been widely recognized. The spirit of the children at the time of reading picture books to the boundless flying and sublimation, fantasy began to infiltrate into the real world, the two mixed together, this and they shown in the game of "spacious, and with a determined to" mental state has a high degree of consistency. This spirit is common namely "game spirit" through the study of children’s picture book with the game itself. Therefore, research of game spirit in children’s picture book helps to enrich our understanding of children and children’s picture book work.This research mainly adopts literature method, observation method and content analysis method. On the one hand, through the literature collection and sorting from vertical and horizontal two dimensions of "game spirit" of the connotation and denotation carding. Longitudinal, probes into the etymology of "game spirit" and the development concept of the game. Horizontally, attention in the field of education, in the field of children’s literature, philosophy, and other relevant discourses on "game spirit". On the other hand, through the form of participant observation, together with children reading picture books, records in the process of the children in the process of reading behavior and verbal response. And combined with the analysis of children’s picture book works, to explore the psychological and text form of the game spirit, from the readers and the author discusses the two aspects of the game spirit.From the content point of view, this study two aspects respectively from readers and authors to explore the "game spirit" in the children’s picture books. In the reader’s level, from the peak experience of children, cognitive construction, conscious and unconscious the change of the text of the dialogue, horizon and the release of the emotional energy for "game spirit" in children’s picture book illustration; In the author’s level, mainly on the basis of reading a lot of picture book text can refine the five more concentrated "game spirit" of the text form, and for the five different forms of text, namely the urchin image choppy, narrative rhythm, mischief, interactive, success and challenge the set of analysis, description "game spirit" text rendering.
