The new curriculum reform emphasizes on the students-oriented education wisdom. It requires to cultivate students’ abilities of autonomous learning and inquiry. The teaching case is created in such context. As the teaching case is an important teaching tool., its development has been widely concerned. In the background of the new curriculum, the school-based resource is a new kind of education resource. With the continuously deepened implementation of the reform, the school-based resource is becoming increasingly concerned. This study considers the relationship between the development of teaching case and that of school-based resources. By means of questionnaire study, we lay the emphasis on the teachers’ understanding of the practice about the development of teaching case and that of school-based resources, and on studying their developers and influence factors, the relevance in the development of teaching case and school-based resources. By means of the analysis of the text study the following problems:the teaching case development process, the pattern of the teaching case, the principle of writing. The study provides a new perspective for the school-based resources development. The development of teaching case from the angle of the school-based resource enriches the content development of the teaching case. In this way the students got a better education.This paper is divided into six chapters. The first chapter mainly introduces the research background, the research status and the significance of the research. It also introduces the research methods and research ideas. The second chapter defines the concepts related to the study designation and introduces the research related theories. Besides, it also explains that it has correlation between the school-based resources development and the teaching case development. The third chapter shows the results of the questionnaire. The questionnaire is about the development of school resources from the perspective of teaching case, and to investigate the correlation between the teaching case and the school-based resources in the view of development and to compare them. The fourth chapter shows the conclusion of investigation. The fifth chapter analyzes the text about the teaching case writing. It is based on practical experience and personal document analysis. Finding the distinction of different types of teaching case. The sixth chapter shows the research conclusion and the lack of research.Through the research we get many conclusions. On the teaching case, many people find it useful and a lot of people are using it. On the school-based resources, many people also find it useful, but a few of people are using it. Most people think that the teaching case can be developed as the school-based resources. The developing process of the teaching case is from the whole to the details. It also from personality to generality,then back to personality. The development process of the teaching case must obey the principle of subjectivity, by problem guiding learn, level design, practicability and evaluation.
