In recent years, government pays more and more attention to the living and working conditions of the rural-urban migrants in the towns, hoping to encourage them to integrate into the towns through various measures, but as the resident populations of the cities, the level of citizenization of the rural-urban migrants, directly determine the success of new urbanization. Education can improve the quality of the rural-urban migrants, human capital and social capital, education is an important way to improve their level of citizenization. Therefore, it is necessary to study the supporting role of education in the citizenization of the rural-urban migrants.The subject of this paper involves the citizenization and education status of the rural-urban migrants, basing on the theory of the human capital. Under the background of policy, which the State vigorously promote urbanization of the rural-urban migrants, using the methods of observation and interview to investigate the citizenization and education of the the rural-urban migrants of the Z village, Zhenjiang. And paper analyze the existing problems, of which the process of citizenization and education supporting of the rural-urban migrants. Finally article proposes the corresponding countermeasures. The main content of the paper is divided into four parts. The first part describes the basic theories, involves comprehensive analysis, of which the necessity of urbanization and the importance of education to enhance the level of public of the rural-urban migrants. The second part is the empirical investigation. Study the situation of citizenization and education of the rural-urban migrants from Z village, Zhenjiang, and attempt to discover the problems. The third part is to analyze the reasons. Make an in-depth study the lack of education supporting of the rural-urban migrants, identify the factors restricting education supporting. The fourth part is the research of the countermeasures. Combine the actual situation of the training of agricultural migrants and put forward scientific recommendations.This paper argues that education can improve the quality of the rural-urban migrants, human capital and social capital. Therefore, education is an important way to enhance the level of their citizenization. Quality of the rural-urban migrants’citizenization is poor, this reflects the strength of support for education is still not enough. The factors of restricting the education supporting are: excessive learning cost and opportunity cost, subject is lack, which supplies education finance, inadequate education system and unreasonable structure and content of education. Right now, government should take active measures to promote the action of the education supporting, by which, formulate policy, promote the enthusiasm of subject of educational investment, establish comprehensive monitoring and evaluation system of education.
