Now the mainstream ideo logy of college students is good, there is a hedonistic, realism, mon ey worship and other ideas, do not pay attention to industrious of b rave, kind, sincere and other moral virtues, but competent appearance,dress, family, life experience, wealth, pleasure-seeking. With the e xpansion of Western ideology penetration and constantly on our youth, pr esents a serious challenge to our country university students’ sociali sm core values cultivation. In the face of many college students’ beha vior difference, diversity, selectivity and independence, how to make t he socialist core values of college students identity, and consciousl y practice the socialist core values is an important theoretical issue faced in the ideological and political education.The author first defines the connotation of socialist core values an d related concepts. Secondly, starting from the survey of current situ ation of college students identity and practice the socialist core val ues system, analysis of college students view of achievements in the re cognition and practice the socialist core values and the existing prob lems, the main problem is that there is a gap between the knowledge an d behavior, weak ideals and beliefs, morality anomie, weakening patri otism, dedication missing, Honesty deficiency, kindness apathy. Once again, from the two aspects of internal and external factors in-depth analysis of factors affecting college students identity and practice t he socialist core values is not strong, the quality of the students th emselves and the defects of subjective consciousness is the internal factor, school, society, family is the external factors. Finally, on the basis of research of related experts and scholars,put forward effec tive countermeasures to strengthen college students’ identity and pra ctice the socialist core values : first, the government should proper ly solve related to the people’s real interests, to strengthen the so cial public opinion direction, optimizing the social environment; sec ond, high school to strengthen team construction, optimizing the envi ronment of the school, strengthen the publicity and education of the socialist core values; third, the family should be to create a good e nvironment, parents need to change ideas, do a good job in their own example; fourth, college students should play their main role, streng then the consciousness and initiative of identity and practice the so cialist core values.
